Quick answer
Go to Silberstein General Trader in southeastern Svartrau during the day. The Lost Blood author objective leads to the merchant inside the shop.
Follow the ring and family-emblem clue, then wait one in-game day and return when the shop reopens. This letter is separate from Letters to Lunka.
Evidence checked October 15, 2026. The merchant location and shop reopening are checked against two original walkthroughs. Their starting landmark and pickup descriptions differ; no universal clock conversion is assumed.
Plan the Lost Blood merchant visit with the Quests & Quest Order, Vrakhir Blood, 30-Day Time Limit and Help the Sanzhani & Letters to Lunka.
Where is the letter's author?
Visit Silberstein General Trader in southeastern Svartrau during the day. The author objective points to the merchant inside, rather than someone wandering the streets. Raider King documents this location and the shop's temporary closure after the conversation.
Start Lost Blood and collect the evidence
PowerPyx places a wrecked cart north of Pilgrim's Trail Shrine in St. Tyna's Grove. Inspect it with Focus, follow the blood west, and enter the cave south of the path. After the murohn fight, search the corpse for the Mysterious Ring and look on the cave floor for A Letter From Father.
Raider King calls the starting landmark Pilgrim's Grove and describes the pickup more briefly. Use the wrecked cart and westward trail to identify the route; search the ground as well as the corpse.
Finish the author objective
At the daytime shop, examine the family symbol behind the counter and discuss the ring's emblem. After the exchange, the shop closes temporarily. Wait one in-game day, then return to the merchant to finish Lost Blood. The documented reward includes the Medicus II manual.
If the shop is closed, check whether the waiting objective has progressed and return during daytime. Avoid assuming that another street NPC will complete the author objective.
Keep the quest names separate
Lost Blood also supplies a blood vial mentioned in the Vrakhir Blood guide. Its letter is separate from the Sanzhani correspondence in Letters to Lunka.
For scheduling, use the quest hub and time-limit guide. This route does not establish a universal conversion between time segments and days.
